Crossing the Arabic Sea
Last night, in luke warm water and with the sun setting behind me, I swam towards the distant lights on the other side of the beach.
The world's largest swimming pool.
A salt water pool of darkness that was mine for an hour. Everybody else had left the water, busy making plans for the evening while I was crossing the Arabic Sea.
Perhaps there was the odd crab following my path from the bottom. But for most part it was all mine.
I owned the ocean for an hour.
